The “pop piano” direction is designed primarily for students who want not only to learn how to play compositions “from sight”, that is, by sheet music, but also to select their favorite melodies by ear and compose their own. In these classes, we pay great attention to the development of melodic and harmonic hearing, musical memory, a sense of rhythm. The curriculum also includes lessons in music literature – on them, adults and young students, under the guidance of a teacher, get acquainted with different genres and directions of pop music, the work of composers, performers, and ensembles.
